Note 1 to entry: Groupings or subdivisions of an organization such as departments or sub-departments, may also be considered as organizations where there is need to identify them. The internal structure of an organization is described by its organizational pattern. Therefore, an organization may be considered in itself as a standalone organization or as a superstructure containing departments and sub-departments, for instance, other lower level organizations. A care organization represents the role any such organization plays when it is involved in the direct provision of care activities.
